Who Will Best Replace Sanusi

The governor of the central bank has serve with all his might, even though we have seen the loop oles he has, and also we have chose to replace him, the question is now, Have we seen any one that will replace Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. The firs bank governor tried his best during his tenure, for me I would rather say that mr president would have let him until the tenure was over. Despite the wrong sanusi did, I believe GEJ would hhave set some watch over him on on financial issues.

Now that the president is talking about droping this man, do we have a compitent replacement for him? The people that are on pipeline, have we sat back to review their attitude towards finace. Nigeria has grown from the stage of group or cleague politics to mass and media opinion. Let us not do it our own way but in the way that th goernance can also favour the masses.
All the same, president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as taken the right decision. Let us watch out for the out come.

LASU To Commence Examination March 3rd

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday directed the re-opening of the Lagos State University, LASU, from Monday February 24, in the overriding best interest of the students.

It will be recalled that LASU authorities, early February, ordered immediate closure of the institution following violent protest by irate students over closure of school’s portal denying them of registering for the forthcoming semester examination. Several properties worth millions of naira were destroyed in the process.

Fashola, in a statement through his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello, explained that the decision was sequel to the recommendation and report of the Lagos State House of Assembly’s Ad-hoc Committee on the LASU crisis.

Chealsea Vs Everton Live Update

The match will kick off by 13:45 O' clock.
The match has begun 25 minutes has been spent so far. Goal line registers nil nil for the both team
It's been a lively opening here at Stamford Bridge, with both sides showing flashes of attacking intent. Chelsea, especially, have started brightly - but a lack of end product means both sides are just as likely to open the scoring.
Yellow Card Oscar at 9 minute
Everton's free kick is duly wasted, as Seamus Coleman hits it long but Naismith can only head it straight to Petr Cech. Chelsea look to break quickly again through Azpilicueta, though the Spaniard loses the ball as it goes off for a throw-in.

Both goalkeepers have had quiet games so far, with it very much being a battle of midfield at the moment. Right now, though, it is Everton who are looking the most likely to create chances. Chelsea are always there on the counterattack, however.

Ozil left out of Arsenal squad for Sunderland clash

Arsene Wenger has decided to rest the German international in the aftermath of his much-criticised display in midweek, when the playmaker missed a penalty as the Gunners were defeated 2-0 by Bayern Munich in their first-leg Champions League clash.

Ozil has started each of Arsenal’s last four fixtures, against Liverpool (twice), Manchester United and Bayern, which were crammed into a draining 11-day period.

The club’s record signing was also one of only three players in the team, along with centre-backs Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny, to play the full 90 minutes in each of the last three of those games.

Wenger admitted the penalty miss affected Ozil against Bayern and, two days later, the 25-year-old was still struggling to come to terms with seeing his crucial spot-kick saved.

Speaking on Friday, Wenger said: "Is he alright now? Certainly not, because 48 hours is a bit short to get over that."

Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp, who missed a last-minute penalty in a famous FA Cup defeat to Manchester United, will be honoured when a statue of him is unveiled ahead of the Sunderland game and Wenger says Ozil can take comfort from the Dutchman’s standing at the club.

"We had examples before like Bergkamp in '99 and he refused to take any penalty after it. He gets a statue today," said Wenger.

"A penalty is part of how you feel and how much you want it. At the moment we have to let Ozil recover, it is part of the job to get over disappointment and show how you respond."

Wenger says the playmaker is unlikely to take a penalty if Mikel Arteta, who returns from suspension against Sunderland, is on the pitch.

Mesut Ozil has been left out of the Arsenal squad that will attempt to reignite the club’s title challenge against Sunderland on Saturday, Goal can reveal.

In a spirited move to halt mass defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Presidency have dangled automatic tickets in respect of the 2015 election to its members in the National Assembly, NASS.

But the automatic tickets are to go to only first-timers in NASS and opposition lawmakers willing to dump their parties, particularly the APC, for the ruling PDP.
Vanguard learnt that the ruling party had raised a strong lobby team with a view to convincing many APC lawmakers to cross over to the PDP and reduce the influence of the opposition in NASS and brighten its chances of winning the next election convincingly.
